BU- good match
UVA (i don’t know if you’re in state, but it’s much harder to get in if you’re out of state)- so match to reach, again depending
GW- high match

good luck!!

I’m out of state, which sucks because they are required to admit a certain amount of Virginians :-(

yeah, i’m in the same position as you because i live in RI and UVA only accepts like 20% out of state, so i feel that it’s a reach for almost everyone. same with william & mary (which you should consider, by the way), they’re required to accept like 80% in state.

I visited both UVA and W&M and loved both of them but I decided to apply to only one since I feel like they’re pretty big reaches. So now we just have to wait to hear back from them which sucks. But I got into UConn (safety school, really don’t want to go there) so I’m feeling positive.

that’s great you got int UConn (the first acceptance is always the best haha). do you know which is better (academically), uva or w&m?

based on rankings, UVA is better (it’s 24 out of all national universities and I think wm is 30). But it depends on what you want to do… For example, if you’re interested in law, wm is the better choice.

i’m interested in medicine, so i think UVA is better for that, but i could be wrong. but thanks for the rankings too!

Bump bump bump
