<p>hey guys,</p>

<p>here are my stats:</p>

<p>end of junior year gpa(total so far) 3.932(w)
end of 1st semester senior year gpa 3.725(w)(i got one c in precalc, will that hurt?...only c in my entire academic career loll)
average of both: 3.828(w) obviously this isnt final gpa, just inclusive of 1st semester.
sats: 1960 composite 2000</p>

<p>i have shown a loottt of interest in gw: i.e., i signed up for multicultural open house(was waitlisted due to crowds), went to and did great on interview, wrote a great why gw essay, and am in constant touch with my admissions rep for va area.</p>

<p>purely on these stats, what are my chances?(my ec's are pretty decent- future civic leaders club,nhs, science hs,english hs,interact club vp, full symphony orch (afterschool), tkd red belt, volunteering at INOVA)</p>

<p>thanks for the replies… no, early decision deadline has passed…but i didn’t want to apply early because the financial commitment is simply too high for this univ… btw, what does “decent shot” mean loll? so vague :D</p>

<p>If you need financial aid, there is no commitment in applying ED. If they don’t offer you enough to enable you to attend, you say thanks but no thanks, and apply elsewhere RD.</p>

<p>yes, i’m the vice president of the interact club at my school(part of rotary international). i’m the treasurer for the french honor society, and i’m the political committee head for the future civic leaders club(i coordinate with congressmen,local politicians to come in and give us advice/info to get involved in politics.</p>

so these are official grades for 1st sem:
Precalc C
Photo 1 A
orchestra A
french 5 B(still making up stuff, so maybe B+)
ap gov B+(1.0weight added on top of this)
ap bio B-(1.0 weight added on top of this)
ap lit A-(1.0 weight added on top of this)</p>

<p>so basically a 2.0,4.0,4.0,3.0,2.7,3.7,3.3 + 3.0 worth of weights so gpa 1st sem= 3.67 and overall gpa= 3.80</p>
