Male Latino in Eugene, Oregon
High School rarely sends people to Ivies an example is this, the best school someone went to last year was UCLA, and that was my brother, but we did win the goldman sachs award this year, so it is still a competitive school.
I wouldn't need financial aid, i don't know if that affects decision..

Chances please. :-) Let me know if you need any more information. Thank you so much!

Compared to the at least 1:12 odds most applicants will face next year,
I believe you will face only a 1:6 odds. In other words you are probably
2 times as likely to get into H/P/B/U compared to an average applicant.

Your Eagle scout status and multiple languages stands out. However
Spanish is a given considering you have listed yourself as latino.

On CC here, there are usually comments about URMs not needing high stats.
This is a myth. The top schools seem to factor in environmental
considerations (school area/demographics etc) not URM status in
determining an acceptable threshold if any.

During my trips to colleges (after being admitted) primarily H, P,M,S,
I found that those URMs I met had fantastic stats definitely amongst the
top of any type of student- given that, your GPA may need some attention?

Your Oregon and Community Service background are also of advantage
to you. Needing aid implies economic diversity and beneficial for
admittance chances not the other way around.
