im really banking on being a semifinalist (atleast) in Intel STS i got very good results in my math project, so my mentor thinks i have a pretty damn good chance!

im extremely passionate about mathematics, as seen by my ec's, my awards, my community service, my sats etc...
i know im obviously way low on the critical reading side...but i have outstanding teacher recs, is there any hope?
(applying as math major)

GREAT CHANCES! your cr and w are kind of low, but you demostrate superb skills for math, you may not know how to talk dude but you can think for sure and be proud of that..good ec and ranking no problem with that
by the way is english your second language?if not that cr and w will not be seen like too bad, got the idea'?
you have good chances don't worry its all about luck know

You def have talent in math but if you're sending your SAT IIs to schools that require 2, math 1 and math 2 count only as 1, you need some other subject for the subject tests, How are you in history or language?

There are hundreds, if not thousands of kids in Ivy applicant pools with perfect SAT math scores. Most of them have much better CR and Writing scores. Top schools are reaches because of that, but still make sure that you emphasize your passion for math.

If you're asking us to chance you, you should give ALL information that could be useful; we shouldn't have to pry it out of you (SATII Chem/Physics and AMC scores).

Reject at all schools based on SAT score (1960). Many, if not all, have scores of AT LEAST 2000.

To be fair, you're obviously very talented/passionate at math.

On the other hand, your stats are incredibly lopsided. A perfect math DOES NOT make up for sub-par reading.

What is your ethnicity? I hate that that will play a role in the admissions process, but the truth is it will. (I'm also assuming you're male - are you?)

IMO might be a little high.. but for a guy majoring in math, he should have gone AT LEAST to AIME.

Unfortunately, since your major is math, your math EC's really aren't that passionate since you never even took the national math exams. Being best at regionals doesn't mean much for your case since it is your only EC, and your major is math.

If you're not an Asian male, then you are an interesting candidate. If you are in fact Asian, I am sorry to say that you are quite typical and you REALLY need to improve your writing score, especially for such competitive schools.
MIT or a similar school would be a good match.
