Oh, and there may be a couple of things that may hinder my chances.

Spanish

Took I in 8th and II in 9th, then took III and IV (AP level w/ no test) at an outside summer school. My school offered AP, but I chose not to take it, going for tough classes such as CompSci and Stats.

Free 6th period in 10th grade

Made varsity water polo over summer and my water polo class for PE credit became zero period. Still took 6 classes, but I usually burden myself with 7. I will write an explanatory note.

For the HYPSC, no one can say for sure. But you're as good as it gets. I'm fairly sure you'll get into at least a few of the Ivies. For the UC's, I'd say your in

agreed wit above. no one can guarentee a spot in any of the ivies, but id say u definetly have one of the better shots.

Just out of curiosity, how can you get a 4.7 with only 5 AP's? Does your school do something other than 5's for AP's and 4's for non-AP's?

BTW, i think your test scores are superb

all i can say is the UCD application fee will be a waste.

you have amazing stat

If you don't get into ALL UCs, I'll eat my shorts.
No really. I will.

:) Like the person above me said, no one can say for sure for IVYs. BUT, here's one advice I can give you. PRESENTATION. present yourself WELL on the apps. make sure your main passion/E.C stands out CLEARLY. Make sure you leave an impression of a dedicated, focused individual. No joke. I've heard of many ppl who had same/better resume as yours and got into no IVYs simply because they failed to present themselves in a right manner. MAKE SURE YOU PRESENT YOURSELF WELL IN YOUR APPLICATIONS, IN SHORT ANSWER ESSAYS AND IN PERSONAL STATEMENTS. EMPHASIZE YOUR PASSION AND MAIN E.Cs, leave them with a good impression of a unique individual that you are.

oh i forgot-

UCs- IN!! (unless something really drastic happens)

If you are serious about being happy at Dartmouth, then look at Amherst and Williams as well. Don't apply anywhere you can't be happy attending.

sup - My school offers honors classes that give you 5 points on the GPA scale.

bandit_TX - could you please explain why I wouldn't like Dartmouth?

Agree with everyone else... HYPSC: can't say

Brown - accepted
Dartmouth - accepted

UC Berkeley - match accepted
UCLA - match accepted
UCSD - safety accepted
UC Davis - super safety accepted

Dartmouth is very rural and somewhat isolated as compared to everything else on your list. Great school but a very different environment than the others.

You already know you're a NM finalist? I never took the test, so I don't know when those decisions are made... it just seems a bit earlier than last year.

apmcavoy, lol, i just know because i got a 239 on the exam.

Decided to apply to Cornell instead of Dartmouth.

Do any of you guys know if I should write a note explaining post 2? Thanks for all the feedback!

NO G8 SN:

UCB: Match
UCLA: Match
UCSD: Safety
UCD: Super Safety

Cool, I talked with my GC and she made me this list

Reaches: HYPS
Reach/Match: Columbia
Match: Brown, Cornell UCB
Safety/Match: UCLA
Safety: UCSD, UCD (might not apply)

Dude you rock, same SAT as me. Except, I was 740CR/800M/790W.
