Chances at Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, other top universities?

So what do you guys think about applying early to Columbia? Is there a very high chance of me getting in ED or is it a crapshoot still like most Ivies are?

Really go for Quality over Quantity. You have done so much and there really isn’t much room to talk about a lot of stuff. If you can come across well on paper and seem genuinely interested I think you have as great a chance as anyone at practically any school.

Good Luck!

Yeah you have a good chances at the top Ivyes. But some of your awards and ECs seem to be made into a big deal even though they’re not that important. :stuck_out_tongue: Good luck!

First of all, I envy your accomplishments as a high school student.

I am a Junior and I am very interested in getting some research experience before I head of to college in a couple years. The University of Washington is not too far away from my town so I would love to be able to take advantage of that great research institution.

How did you get the various research positions that you held at UCSD?

Thank you for any info/advice that you give me!

Dang, do we go to the same school? I’m in Academic League in my school in SD and I believe we placed second this year.

Your list of accomplishments is nothing short of spectacular. I’d say admissions are going to come down to essays and how you can adequately demonstrate who you are/your thought processes in a 500 word essay.

suprasanity: I agree, was about to say to leave out the middle school work, as apps are about your HS career
