it seems to me like you have a good chance...make sure to really emphasize one passion, though...it seems like you extracurriculars are somewhat scattered, and I've heard that Harvard often likes to see students focused on one area. still, it seems like your officer positions show good leadership. i'm not sure what grade you're in, but if u have time, it would be great to pull up the sat score to 2300.....

great job, keep it up, and good luck :-)

I agree with Adelaide about the 2300 SAT I. As for your SAT II's, any way to perhaps raise them? And have you taken any AP's? Good EC's and leadership...

Good luck.

My 2 cents

i still have time to retake exams, but i was trying to avoid that if at all possible. most ppl have told me that my scores arent really keeping me out of anywhere, but arent really setting me apart either. anyways, ive taken the toughest courses available at my high school, including ap bio (5 on exam), ap us history (4 on exam), and ap spanish 1 junior year, and plan on taking ap spanish 2, ap english, ap chem, and ap calc ab during senior year

Haha, don't worry about being "scattered." I'm scattered. Science, math, art, philosophy, creative writing. I was like, oh no, I don't have a focus! What should I do?

I ended up writing an essay about how my scattered-ness somehow coalescene to form yours truly.

Yes, a focus would make it easier for an admissions officer to understand you and jot down a summary of your last three years onto a little post-it note. But remember that variety is the spice of life.
