dannnnng.
all i can say is: GOOD JOB!!!
is there a reason you even bothered applying to ucdavis? i would be absolutely astounded if you ended up there.. your stats are excellent..

and yes... i know.. we all need safety schools. just take it as a compliment and leave it at that : )

anyway, you have good shots at everything on your list. i agree with flopsy.

strong chance at all your schools. the only reason u might get rejected by uc's or lower tier ivies is because they feel you are using them safeties. Congrats at HPM
your getting in..

my school is #1 according to wall street journal :)

oh yeah? well wall street journal hasn't even HEARD of MY SCHOOL!!!!
BAH! what now homedog!?!?

Your stats are proof this is such a lottery. I don't know how you don't get in everywhere....

if you don't get in, then i'll pack my bags and live in the dumpster near our house...

That says it all for your top 6-7 schools. You're qualified, but so are many others. Indian and Cali both work against you. You didn't list your class rank?? If there are a number of applicants ahead of you, that may be a problem as well. You have plenty of match and safety schools, so no problem overall.

thanks guys. My school doesn't rank, but I'm estimating I'm in the top 10-15 out of a total class size of 77. I know it's not great, but I was hoping my other accomplishments would offset my gpa. Anyone else?

Good chances at most...

The grant seems really impressive.
Did you put down any research publications?

wait, wrathofgod, which school do you go to

prabz21 -- the op gave out some very specific info that makes identification pretty easy...that being said...it's people like the op who make me feel like a huge joke...it's yale's loss for not accepting him...at least i know that if i get rejected from stanford it will truly be because of people far more qualified

is my GPA too low, and will it prove a hindrance to admission?

why is your weighted gpa so low?

because it's UC (University of California) weighted, which means it only takes into account 8 semesters max of honors and ap courses, spanning 10th and 11th grade. The way my school works, the highest UC gpa theoretically is 4.28. However, if my gpa were to be weighted such that every honors/ap class taken beginning in 9th grade was weighted, I would have around a 4.48.

bump .

bump one more time
