I applied SCEA to Yale.
Regular Decision to:
Harvard
Princeton
Stanford
Brown
Dartmouth
Rice
Claremont McKenna
Pomona

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. THANKS SO MUCH! AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!

everything looks strong, but as you probably know the ivies are reaches for everyone. That being said:

Yale SCEA: 40%
Harvard & Princeton: 30%
Brown & Dartmouth: 79.99%
Rice, Claremont, Pomona: in

I applied early to Yale, too. You have great stats, good luck!

Hmm, not to be a party pooper but paltock's chances are pretty optimistic.

Yale SCEA-15% (It's a crap shoot to be honest)
Harvard % Princeton-15-20%
Brown & Dartmouth: 35%
Rest-in

Great stats, but like I said before HYPS(M) are all crap shoots!

yale - 35%
Harvard - 30%
Princeton - 40%
Stanford - 50%
Brown - 55%
Dartmouth - 55%
Rice - 85%
Claremont McKenna - 95%
Pomona - 70%

Thank you all very much. I appreciate the consideration and time :) Take care and, again, good luck to you all.

Yale-30-ish%
Harvard-20
Princeton-20
Stanford-30
Brown-40
Dartmouth-40
Rice/Claremont/Pomona-likely in

Also...applying to so many Ivies may hurt your chances.

Thanks, haru07. But, what evidence do you have to support that? I think that's just a common misconception that people have.

Yale...35%
Harvard...25%
Princeton...30%
Stanford...40%
Brown...55%
Dartmouth...60%
Rice...80%
Claremont McKenna...85%
Pomona...65%

Yale, Harvard & Princeton: 15 %
Brown & Dartmouth: 40%
Rice, Claremont, Pomona: 90%

just curious-how does applying to a lot of ivies hurt your chances?

it is impossible to chance ivies.

There are a lot of crazy numbers on this board. 80% at Dartmouth with SATs below last years' average and not top 5 in class? I think you will need exceptional essays and recs to get into an ivy. I don't see HYPS, but maybe a lower ivy or Pomona and above 50% chance at CMC. Don't know about Rice.

Two people at my school just got into Cornell ED with a 2150 and I believe a 2170. Regular ECs. A 2270 is not a low SAT score (especially for Dartmouth). HYPS is still a reach, but I think many of the Ivies are overly glorified. I know two people from church who got into Yale and Princeton (rejected at Harvard) who really aren't geniuses.

Oh, I just wanted to add this, I got Deferred at Yale.
