Unweighted GPA: 3.8 (Frankly it’s that low because of the Bs I received in the four semesters of mandatory phys ed freshman and sophomore year. I’ve only ever gotten one B+ in an academic class)

SAT II: 710 Bio M, 710 US History, 800 Spanish
APs: Euro-4, APUSH-4, Psych-3, Bio-4, English Lang-5
Current Schedule: AP Lit, AP Stats, AP Gov, AP Econ, Physiology and Anatomy, Journalism. </p>

<p>High School Activities
• Newspaper Senior News Editor, Gay Straight Alliance Club, Peer Tutoring, Harry Potter Club (Founding member, Co-President), Invisible Children Club, Hospital Volunteer (at a highly selective volunteer program in Los Angeles), Local Drug Use Prevention Task Force Student Rep. (nominated by guidance counselor). I also volunteered at a day care center for the children of low income ESL students for an entire summer. I also work at a law firm (i don’t know if that matters.)</p>

<p>I think you’ll be good for all of them except Harvard, Stanford, Brown and Dartmouth. I’d say a decent shot at Brown and Stanford, less at Dartmouth, even less at Harvard. But you do have a few hooks, so you never know.</p>

<p>ivies + stanford are a long shot. otherwise, good shot at the uc’s, usc, and perhaps nyu :)</p>
