I'll be applying to MIT, Yale, and Harvard for sure. U Penn, Columbia, Berkeley, Stanford, Princeton are maybes.

However, I'm not too good at foreign languages. I've only taken 1 year of it, and will graduate with maybe 2-3 years of foreign language (depending how fast i can get through online classes). how much do you think it'll affect admissions?

You have a very strong resume. You have a good chance at every school but I am sure you know that. All you can do now is apply and see what happens, but you should get accepted to at least one of MIT, Harvard, and Yale.

I don't live in the US so I don't have your kind of opportunities, but I am really surprised at how some parts of your stats seem uncannily similar to mine! I was a ISEF finalist too, and also did some published research. Of course, I don't have your wonderful 2330 (I am 110 points less :() but still....

You are definitely in U Penn, Columbia, and Berkeley!

May I also recommend Duke? Duke's very strong math and science! :D

Your chances at Harvard, MIT, and Yale (also Princeton & Stanford) are also very good and there's no reason for you to shy away from applying to them.

How does ISEF Finalist compare to Siemens Regional Finalist? I personally think submitting a 20 page research paper (Siemens) is more worthwhile than giving a 5 minute presentation (albeit multiple presentations) from a display board (ISEF).

The Intel Science Talent Search and the Seimens Competition are both more prestigious than being an Intel ISEF Finalist. Becoming a finalist in ISEF requires that you win your regional fair, some of which are extremely competitive while others are not so.
