Chances at Ivys/Lib Arts Schools + SAT v. ACT + more!

Okay, I am a rising senior next year, and the college stuff is really starting to get to me, espically with all these AP tests this week/next (3 for me).... so first, my profile

700/740/620 (CR/M/W) SAT I
34 Composite ACT (with 36 on the Math)
95.6 unweighted, 99.97 weighted average in high school
all honors classes through out HS
Big in Televison Production, I do a lot of outside stuff for that
NHS
Volunteering, espically with teachers int he school, once at the Salvation Army
National Merit person, next fall I will know if im a Semifinalist (210 on PSATS)
Public High School in Upstate NY

Okay, first, what are my chances at the Ivies, espically Brown, but really all of them I am interested in, and liberal arts colelges like Swathmore, Bates, Amherest, Reed, and the like.

Second, Should I retake the SATs/does it matter that my SATs arent great, but I have a great ACT score.

Third, shuold I take a heavy courseload at SUNY Oswego (the local college) next year + a few high school classes, or take SUPA (Syracuse University classes offered at High Schools) classes and AP classes at my HS next year?

well for swarthmore, the admissions office takes into heavy consideration your essays (probably similar for most liberal arts colleges).

i think you should try to raise your SAT scores a bit... especially for writing. then again...your ACT score looks good. how are your SATIIs? any idea of rank? ethnicity?

your ECs are okay... but i think you can do a bit more. any hooks?

i don't really know what your chances are. you should give a bit more information. but from what you DID say, i think you have somewhat of a shot.

I'm white male
Im taking SAT II's this weekend + 3 AP tests in the next week (US History, Physics B, and Psychology)
I'm second in my class
I plan on getting a job at the local book store this summer
And I can kinda play up TV because my high school has one of the biggest tv studios in upstate and we do a lot of stuff, like next year, a few friends and I are producing a movie, so it will be good stuff.
