chances at james madison college at michigan state

Firstly, does anyone have any information on James Madison that goes beyond what is written on their website? I am a Michigan resident who is interested in UMich and James Madison College at Michigan State. I am ,obviously, interested in political science and am wondering what my chances are for either and whether either is preferable. I am a junior.

ACT: 29
GPA: 3.8
AP's: 5 on US History; I am currently taking AP GOV; signed up for AP Modern Euro and AP English.
EC's: 3 years track; 2 years football; Student Senate (Council); Diversity Club 1 year.
Also, does any one have any colleges that they think I would be interested in and are feasible with my stated resume?

Sounds like a done deal. You did better than me and I got in. I got a 27 on my ACT, I forget what my high school GPA was but it wasn’t that high though it was decent, I got a 5 on both the AP American Government and Comparative Government exams. Extracurriculars, I was on the Debate and Mock Trial teams. One thing though I was told my teacher in high school that my double 5.0s in both government exams was a first in this AP testing region. That might have impressed them. I also went to a community college for 2 years before transfering and did better than I had in high school. Usually transfer students have a higher chance of acceptance into anything.
