That's nice but colleges won't know and don't care.

I'd suggest to continue taking more AP classes but definitely pull those grades up. Don't take too many hard classes if you can't handle them. Try to get all As. Your rank is a little low.

Umm...study hard for SATs? I don't know.

Maybe do some summer work. Volunteer at a hospital or something? Just an idea. Or travel somewhere. Good essay material.

Good luck.

Are you a sophomore?

yea, im taking the highest classes my school is offering. in junior year, i am taking AP Bio, AP American History, Hon. Pre Calc., Hon Eng 3, and Psycho/A.P Psycho, spanish 3, and then in senior year, its all A.P.'s

I'm a sophomore as well. :P
My schedule resembles yours, though I've never gotten a single B. ;)

You are only a sophomore, so I think that you have a chance. Keep going with the Science Olympiad- you seem to be doing well there. Any activity that shows leadership will be valuable, too. If you are just missing A's, you may have a problem with study skills. Are you good at figuring out what the teachers want, and delivering it- or do you waste a lot of time studying things that do not show up on the tests? If you spend some time analyzing how you lose points and end up with B's, it could help a lot. A lot is going to depend on your SATs as well. Are you good at standardized testing? Definitely buy a book and practice. You are taking challenging courses and getting high B's, you are doing well in some of your ECs, and you are beginning to show signs of leadership, so I would definitely keep pushing and not give up on JHU.

You sound pretty smart; it's a shame you got all those B's. Also it kinda sucks that your school doesn't give -+ grades. Just try to make A's next year and get >2100 on SAT. Soph grades won't mean much if you finish well.
