Chances at LAC

I'm a junior from indiana lookin' at top tier LACs. I know that Amherst, Williams etc are out of reach, but I visited and fell in love with Carleton, which is my number one choice at the moment; however, I don't know if it is realistic. Here it goes:

SAT: 2170; 760 M; 710 CR; 700 W (will be retaking)
ACT: (will be taking)
PSAT: 231; 80 M; 760 CR; 750 W
Rank: 39/800: top 5%
GPA: 3.6 uw
My grades are pretty sporadic, so I'm just gonna put them up here. This is where most of my concern is:

Right now I have all A's except a B+ in History and B in Eng. (Which is based on very few grades)

ECs:
Fr: Youth Orchestra; IUPUI Math Contest Honorable Mention; Symphony Orchestra; Fencing; JV Lacrosse; Perfect Score at State Solo Contest; Pit Orchestra

So: Youth Orchestra; IUPUI Math Contest Third Place; JV & Varsity Lacrosse (JV Captain); Fencing; Principal Cellist in School Orchestra (one of the best, if not the best, school orchestras in the state); Pit Orchestra

Jr: Principal Cellist in All-State Orchestra; Principal Cellist in School Orchestra; Prelude Awards (prestigious arts award in indianapolis) finalist; NHS; IU String Academy; AIME Qualifier; Pit Orchestra

Sr: Who Knows???? Back to Lacrosse and continuing Music

Like I said, my concern is the grades. I'm not sure how will my god awful sophmore year would go over with top schools, which is why I'm here. I had heard that selective schools do not accept anyone with even one C, of any kind on their transcripts, in which case I'll be rethinking my college options. Also, I will be heading east over spring break and if their are any college suggestions they would be appreciated as well.

Schools in the midwest that you may want to consider are St. Olaf (Minnesota), Oberlin (Ohio), and Lawrence (Wisconsin). Each of them have excellent reputations and very strong music departments.

Might want to add Trinity and Holy Cross both solid LAC'S with lacrosse programs. HC has better location-1 hour from Boston.

Thanks for the replies thus far. I figure I should also add that I have no racial/economic hooks at all. So do I have a shot at Carleton, and even Oberlin, which was mentioned? I may have a legacy at Oberlin, grandfather and greatgrandfather both attended...
