Chances at LAC's, please! I'll be brief!

Quick, tell me my chances!

GPA: 3.0/5.0 weighted (yeah, it sucks-my predicted GPA for this year is much better, something around a 4.0-4.5)

ACT: 34 (36 reading, 35 english, 35 science, 31 math)
SAT-II's: 760 Biology-M, 750 U.S. History
AP's: 5 European History, 5 Biology, 4 U.S. History, 4 English Literature, predicted 5's for this year

EC's: drama club (4 years), fall play (11th), ComedySportz improvisational show (10th), Variety Show (10th, predicted 12th), Academic Bowl (11th, 12th: co-captain), Crescent Club: Muslim awareness club - no one ran it my junior year (10, 12th)

Honors: AP Scholar with Honor, National Merit Semifinalist (possibly a finalist??), American Association of Teachers of German Study Trip Award (I won a three-week study trip to Southern Germany because of my German skills)

current courseload: AP Chemistry, AP German Language, AP English Language, Medical Technology, Horticulture, P.E.

------- COLLEGES: -------
Vassar
Illinois Wesleyan
Beloit
Earlham
Knox
Augustana
Lawrence
Ohio Wesleyan
Wittenberg
University of Illinois @ Chicago: College of Liberal Arts & Sciences

I know my EC's may seem a little weak but all of the theater productions at my school take up 40+ hours a week in the final weeks of rehearsal! It's pretty demanding.

Just FYI: I plan to double major in Biology (I want to study medicine) and German, so my essays deal with my passions for these subjects. Also, I think I'll have a really good teacher recommendation from my Chemistry teacher, who I've had for three years (I took CHemistry/Physics honors as a combined two-year course).

THANK YOU!

Only reach is Vassar

Agreed -- Only reach is Vassar -- and that is not a huge reach.

Good luck!

Illinois Wesleyan likes to see a lot of shown interest in the school so if you really interested- show it- go to college fairs, visit, overnight, establish good relationship with adcom etc
