Chances at Large State Schools

Most of the schools I have applied to are large states schools, all of which I am OOS for. My stats are:

SATS: Taken once
700 Math
670 Verbal
660 Writing

SAT II:s
750 Math II
740 US History
710 Chemistry

GPA

3.75 UW

4 AP's senior year - Bio, AB Calc, Politics, German
1 Junior Year - US History (5)

EC's
Soccer (4 yrs)
Track and Field
Coached BBall and soccer
Part time job
Internship at theatre

I have applied to UVA, UCLA, UNC, Columbia, UMich, UW Madison, USC and have been accepted into Mich and Wisconsin

What do you think my chances at the other school are? Thanks

UVA, UCLA, UNC, Columbia are going to be reaches. UVA is probably where you are going to have the best shot. You're probably in at So Cal. UCLA and UNC will depend on your rank, but UNC is going to be harder OOS than Columbia (or at least equal). Good luck!

Oh yea, I also applied to UCSB and UCSD but would most likely go to UMich above these

AFreeman7:

UCLA: Slight Reach (out of state)
UCSD: Match (out of state)
UCSB: Safe Match (out of state)

You will probably get into UW-Madison.

You'll probably get into USC. I disagree with wilmingtonwave completely about UNC. Not only do a much higher percentage of people from my school (in MD) get into UNC than Columbia (14% vs 8%), but those who got into Columbia have much higher stats (3.97, 1482 avg vs 3.74, 1438 avg).

Anyway, Columbia is a huge reach. UNC is a slight reach. UVA and UCLA are reaches.

yea i am already into Madison and Michigan, and UVA is probably the top school on my list...but I am OOS
