Hello! my brother is looking at ccny and manhattan college for mechanical engineering. his gpa is a 3.4-3.4 and sat is 1700 (1130 CR+M) (first try). Great ECs (founder and officer of few clubs) and 150+ hours with a few dozen here and there. So what are his chances at CCNY and manhattan college? Also how is the engineering program there? And campus life? Thanks!

solveforx: You graduate high school this year and from reading a few of your other threads, you will be attending college this coming fall (for mechanical engineering, I think). If you don’t mind me asking, which school are you going to in the fall? Are you using your brother as a proxy for yourself? Pretty much all the threads you have started seems to centered around your brother. Just curious.
@Psata82 i am going to be starting at penn state. here’s the thing. my brother had two accounts for cc but they banned one so he made the second (which they ended up banning). they didn’t let him make a new one so i decided to make one using my email. he tells me to make a post and he tells me what to write so i just write and post. i tell him what people comment. that’s literally all there is to it. i do have a couple of posts for me but most are centered around him. i am doing this because the thing is he has no one to go to for advice except me or his gc. his gc doesn’t help so it’s me. so i guess i have to play the role of both his brother and his guidance counselor.
