My grades also took a dip sophomore year, about three percentage points from a 94 to a high 90.xxx, because of some family circumstances. I had troubles focusing in class and on class work, but junior year my average went back up to around a 92.

their avg sat is a 1071 on the 1600 scale, and their avg GPA is a 3.3, so, ummmmmmmm barring any really f-ed up scenarios, i would say 90% chance of getting in--this should be your safety school.

I applied to Marist. I went to the info session before the tour and you actually qualify for $8000/year if you have 1800, which you have. So if that qualifies you for a scholarship then you will def. get it. On the old scale the average is somewhere below 1100, so it should be a safety.
