Essays: I honestly don't know? They are really unique but I am sure everyone on this forum has a somewhat bias view of their own work. I'll just say that I along with my AP English Teacher thought it was interesting

Recs: My counselor and my Stat teacher both said I was the best student they have had in their career. blah blah I'm sure colleges recieve a ton of this. My other rec only said i was one of the best. Two out of Three I guess isn't that bad. They said my social, and intellectual intensity was amazing along with my ability to lead classroom discussion

In case you haven't heard back already, I'd guess that you will get in. I'm from a very competitive public high school in Illinois and my class rank was slightly lower than yours (39/628), and I was admitted to McCombs a couple days ago after applying on the deadline date (Feb 1). All of your stats, especially EC's are superior to mine, except for your SAT. I had a 2170 and a 33 ACT. Based on all that, I'd guess you'd probably get in, though. However, I am a National Merit Finalist and that may have played a big role in my admission.

Your test scores are pretty weak for McCombs, so don't be surprised if you don't get in. Its still possible with your rank, but if you don't get in with the 1%, 2%, 3% rule, you probably won't get into McCombs

I think you will get in. Your EC's are really strong. My EC's were really strong, but not quite as strong as yours. My test scores were a tad better (31 ACT, but thats pretty close to your SAT score), and I had a better ranking, but only by about 1% (still not good enough to automatically get in though, I was top 3.6%). And I just found out I got accepted to McCombs the other day.
