Chances at McCombs School of Business?

<p>Hey. I just applied to UT Austin's McCombs School of Business and because I wasn't in the top 2% I did not get Auto-Admittance. They said I won't get my answer until January because they have to look at the whole of my application. What do you think the chances are of me getting in?</p>

<p>Gender: Female
State: Texas</p>

<p>GPA: 98.7 (weighted) ( We don't have 4.0 or 5.0 systems. )
- Don't know my unweighted GPA</p>

<p>Classes- 6yrs Math, 4yrs English, 4yrs Science, 5yrs History, 3yrs Spanish, and then some minor required courses.</p>

<p>Sports - Play for the Varsity Tennis team. Captain.</p>

<p>Class Rank: 22 out of 462 ( Top 4.8% )</p>

<p>SAT: 1830 </p>

<p>-Math: 620
-Writing: 600
-Reading: 610
-Essay: 10</p>

<p>SAT SUBJECT:</p>

<p>US History-680</p>

<p>ACT: 26</p>

<p>APs:</p>

<p>Art History: 3
World History: 3
Environmental Science: 3
English: 4
U.S History: 2
Calculus: 2</p>

<p>Awards: Ap Scholar, Tennis Tournaments.</p>

<p>Loads of Extracurricular.</p>

<p>Okay Recs.</p>

<p>Pretty good essays. ( I think. If someone else would like to give their opinion that would be nice! )</p>

<p>GPA and class rank are really good</p>

<p>but SAT & ACT are really low</p>

<p>Your in top 10 so go to UT and then transfer into business school, much easier than applying straight into it.</p>
