Chances at Merit?

I recently visited Northeastern and honestly I wasn’t considering it too seriously. I visited only because it was near some other colleges I visited. However, now it’s one of my favorites after my visit. I think my stats are near the 75th percentile, but I’m not sure if that’s enough for merit. I know they meet need but I’d also like to see what kind of merit I might be able to get. I’ll post my basic stats.

GPA: 98 UW, 100 W
SAT: 1510 new superscore
ACT: 34 single sitting
Decent ECs, lots of leadership but no large awards

I know Northeastern recalculates GPA. If it’s +1 for AP and +0.5 for honors, I’m at a 4.354 W GPA(4.0 UW). That’s for EA. If first semester senior grades are counted, I would have a 4.431 W, is that a big difference? I’m already 2nd in my class and have taken the most rigorous schedule possible too with all As.

Do my basic objective stats put me in range for merit? I saw their ACT range was 34-35 for honors which was crazy but I’m just interested in scholarship opportunities. Do I have a fair chance at some merit aid, or at least acceptance in the EA round? It’s a lot more competitive than I initially thought so I’m not sure anymore.

Good chance of some merit. Are you NMF? Need to “show interest”.

@TomSrOfBoston No, not NMF. What other ways can I show interest other than visiting? They don’t come to my school or at any events near me.
