I applied to Michigan LSA (Econ Major) Early Action and was deferred. I am an out of state applicant (NY) and Michigan was one of my top choices (I applied for Ross Pre-Admit as well). I was wondering if someone could tell me my chances of getting in after getting deferred.

I have taken the hardest courses offered at my high school every year
Extracurriculars: Not going to go into too much detail but 300+ volunteer hours with children who have autism, county government intern, part time job, school newspaper business manager, school basketball team statistician, NHS treasurer, investment club and a few more clubs (no leadership positions in the other clubs)
Essays: I thought they were overall very good. Very happy with my common app essay and I spent a lot of time on the Michigan supplemental questions and I was pleased with how they came out.
Recs: I think they are good but waived my right to see them so I really don’t know for sure
Not sure if this has any impact on my chances at Michigan but I applied ED to Wharton at Penn and was deferred also
I didn’t apply for financial aid and I thought that would help since Michigan is not needs blind.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what my chances were for getting into Michigan LSA. Also it possible to get a Ross Pre-Admit after being deferred?
