Michigan is a match.

do you think I should make it my early decision, or should it be regular decision? Also, is it considered a pretty good school for computer science. I mean, if I were to look for a job after college would it be pretty easy, and could I go to prestigious grad programs at MIT, or Brown, if I were to do well at Michigan?

UM is rolling admission. apply as early as possible. second question...yes, UM is a good engin and CS school. gpa must be 3.7+

Michigan does not have an early decision/early action plan...all applicants are part of a rolling admissions cycle. I believe that if you do well at UofM you would have a good shot at prestigious grad programs/ jobs.

Michigan is no MIT, but it certainly competes favorably with Brown, especially in Engineering.

I'd so UM is more of a safety for you. You're pretty strong, with maybe the exception of your sat scores.

I am planning on getting those scores up considerably, the scores you see were my first try without any kind of prep, I am going to do some major work, and hopefully get 2200+ :)

are SAT IIs fine? Also, I've heard that MIT isn't that great of an Undergraduate Program and it is better to go to Grad school there? what do you guys think. Because if I get my SATs up 2200+ I might add MIT to my list?

MIT is amazing no matter what level of education. Don't let people tell you otherwise. There is no such thing as a great graduate program without a great undergraduate program. They are one and the same. Only huge universities with no wealth or resources (like Arizona, Rutgets, Ohio State) have excellent graduate programs with average undergraduate programs. But in general, if a university has top graduate programs, it has top undergraduate programs. So if you can rase your SAT to 2200+, definitely apply to MIT.
