Chances at Middlebury College, Early Decision, Please!

<p>I’m a junior in high school but I am already thinking about how much I’d love to spend four years at Middlebury. Help me out?</p>

Top 5% / currently summa cum laude (school doesn’t rank but does recognize students with Latin honors)
Freshman year and sophomore year, 4.0 gpa unweighted, 1 honors class: earth systems science. Lowest midterm or final exam grade both years was an A-
-Junior Year-
AP US History: current grade = A-
AP Calculus (have already taken geometry, algebra I, algebra II/trig, and precalc): current grade = A
AP English Language: current grade = A-
Business and technology: currently A+
French IV: currently A+
Principles of Physics: currently A+
-Senior year- Not sure on all my classes, but I plan to take 3 more APs:
AP Studio Art, AP English Literature, and AP Statistics
Haven’t taken SATs but have done the PSATs twice, second time with 680s and 690s. Working on really improving that come SAT time.
I’ve taken one class at the University of Vermont and received a 4.0 on that transcript.
EXTRACURRICULARS
Next summer: mission trip to Ecuador with church group, VERY excited!!
Last month, I started a two-year challenge to walk as many benefit walks in my state as I can. After completing the annual CROP walk for hunger, I will participate in the COTS walk, breast cancer walk, autism walk, humane society walks, and others.
3 years: H20 (Help to Others) club, will become president next year as I am the only junior currently in the club
2 years: CHS cares / Red Cross club
2 years: Junior Varsity girls soccer, captain 10th grade
27 hours of volunteering at the Ethan Allen Homestead and Museum
2 years: Math team
2 years: Art club
3 years: Burlington marathon volunteer
Total, over 300 hours of community service

<p>Wow, that’s so weird because you sound a lot like me. I had a question, did you school offer more honors courses fresh/soph year that you didn’t take? Your community service sounds really solid though and shows a passion, so that’s a plus. I really want to go there too, so i hope for the both of us that these stats are good enough!</p>

<p>I totally just remembered two more classes during my first two years which I did honors…Asian Experience and American Experience. Some classes offered honors but I didn’t take all honors because I didn’t think that they were that important, though they may have been. No APs are offered to freshmen and sophomores though. And oh my goodness I know, I totally hope to go there, I hope you that you’ll get in to (plus it may bode well for me if we have the similar stats)!</p>
