Chances at MIT and Caltech?

I'm female, Indian, and 16 year old.
I want to apply to MIT and Caltech for computer science.

GPA = 3.8
SAT = 2,350
ACT = 32
Class rank = 34/1,252
EC = engineering club, computer programming club (I'm the club president), anime club, tennis, bowling, Girls basketball, fencing club, game simulation club, and I've been involved in the school's science fair twice (and won one.)
Job = I work as a cashier...during school days and weekends.

AP classes I've taken/ taking / will take:
WHAP - 4
APUSH - 5
AP Computer Science - (taking currently)
AP English Language and Comp. - 5
AP government - (taking next year)
AP Environmental Science - 5 (self studied)
AP Literature and Comp - (taking currently)
AP Physics (taking next year)
AP Calculus AB (taking next year)
AP micro/macro economics (self-studying atm)

Besides this, I've taken honors classes, with the exception of math sophomore year in Algebra 2. They placed me in the wrong level class (I was supposed to be in honors), but they weren't able to switch my classes cause there wasn't enough room left.

I also went to a technical school freshman year that solely teaches IT 1/2 the day.

You have a shot, see if you can increase your ACT to a 34+, raise your GPA. If you are international your ability to pay out of pocket will also be just as important

I’m not international, so not much of a problem there. lol

Leave “Anime Club” OR “Fencing team” off your application. Admissions officers will see you as just another nerdy Indian girl.
