Chances at MIT, Columbia, UPenn, Brown

I am currently a senior at a highly competitive high school. I rank in the top 5th percentile (most likely to be valedictorian). I have taken 7 AP exams so far and scored 5's on all of them. Two of these exams were math-related, 1 was english-related, and 4 were science related. I have taken three years of physics, 2 years of chemistry, and 2 years of biology course. My GPA is basically a 4.0 on the 4.0 scale. I unfortunately currently have a B in my AP Biology class. Will this hurt my chances for getting into these colleges?

I'm interested in applying to the Ivy's and other top private universities (MIT, Stanford, etc). I would like to major in science or engineering. I understand that SAT scores are not the only factors for admission, but are my scores up to par for a prospective student at these colleges:

Superscore individual SAT section scores:

M: 740

CR: 780

WR: 790

SAT II Subject Test Scores:

Chemistry: 740

Physics: 700

Math IIC: 770

Literature: 670 (horrible score)

I am also applying to safety schools such as Rutgers, NJIT, etc.

I am currently acing all of my classes, including AP Lit and Organic Chemistry, but my AP Statistics and AP Biology grades are not that great (they're currently in the B range)

I also take part in a lot of extracurricular activities: avid chorus member, guitar player, freelance photographer, dancer, president of the school student board, etc.

I have also skipped a grade.

What are my chances for getting into MIT, Columbia, UPenn, Brown, Princeton, and/or NYU?

Thank you!

P.S. Could my nationality affect my chances?
I am a female and Indian.

I’m just going to bump this up

Your race and gender play a major role in your application. Becuase your a female applying for the sciences, it raises your chances; unfortunately, becuase you’re indian, and like most others of your race are, applying for the science field, that not only counteracts your gender advantage, but also pits you at a slight negative.

No doubt your academic work is impressive, SAT II a bit low(not counting lit), most people who are applying to your field have higher SAT II

It honestly comes down to your E.C. and any volunteer work that you’ve done. If you could make a list, with exact activites, and not the brief vague one that you did here, that would give us a better picture of what type of candidate you are.

Chance me back?

At the colleges you have selected, many competing students (many as in thousands) will have similar or better academic stats. To have a shot, you will need to be able to show leadership in multiple ECs or community service activities. You are much better off leading in a few activities than being a follower in a lot of them. How’s your community service experience? Can you point to specific successes as opposed to just hours logged in random activities?
