I know my ECs are weak, what can I do to improve and look better? MIT is my dream school since I have perfect scores do I have a shot a getting in and how can I improve my ECs this year?

UIUC is a safety and regarding the rest of the schools, I agree with @thegrant
That being said, I would be very surprised if you didn’t get into at least one of these schools (apart from UIUC).
Good luck!

Holy crap. You’re an amazing tester. MIT will accept you. A guy from my school last year got in with EC’s that are not as good as yours. Cal Tech- Match, Illinois- match. For Stanford I think you need better EC’s so low reach.

To answer your question on what ECs you should add- NONE, you now need a Hook that can make you stand out (National Merit Semifinalist and ______________)… Good Luck and whats your PR in XC???

…you are literally the perfect candidate, low reach/match for cal tech and mit safety UIUC, high reach stanford, but then again stanford is a reach for everyone

You have a perfect ACT and GPA and great ECs. You’ll be super competitive at any school, so just make sure to stand out even more with your essays Good luck!

MIT gets many stats like yours. It takes one or two really meaningful ECs that make you stand out rather than a bunch of them that look as if trying push it. Focus on two that have something to do with your future interests, make your application stand out. Research online application suggestions. Sometime’s high school counselors have no clue. I even have reached out to current students and asked if they have any pointers when applying.
