<p>Not looking to persue athletics in college.</p>

<p>Without knowing any more details about your ECs, I’d say NYU is a match, and MIT is a reach, maybe a low reach. Have you gotten any awards or honors for anything science related? If not, MIT is definitely a reach. Looking at your post, I’d guess you aren’t a senior yet, so sign up for and take the AMC when it comes around. If you can, try to pursue some sort of research (though it’s not always possible, depending upon your area, if it’s like mine). Take math and science subject tests. Good luck! Chance me back?
