Chances at MIT or an Ivy

<p>Hello, I'm a junior and I want to know my chances of getting into MIT or an Ivy.</p>

<p>GPA; 4.0</p>

<p>Top 5% of Class (Catholic School)</p>

<p>APs: English Language and Composition, Psychology, Environmental Science, US History (received over 5 on all of it)</p>

<p>SAT: 2190</p>

<p>SAT II:
Math II- 750
Literature- 790
Chemistry- 700</p>

<p>Courses: All Classes or either Honors or AP</p>

<p>Extra-Curricular:
Math Club (4 Years & VP for 2 years)
Pro-Life Club (4 Years)
Asian Club (Co-Founder & VP)
Tutoring (4 Years)
Lab Assistant at School (2 Years)</p>

<p>Volunteering:
-at City Hall during the summers</p>

<p>Reach…probably should at least have a 2300+ since you only have 4 APs and SAT IIs are less than perfect…Good Luck though</p>

<p>I have a couple friends who applied to MIT. You have a decent change, although your SAT I scores are on their low side. MIT is starting to attempt to maintain a more balanced image, and you have good clubs and some leadership. Beefing up your community service probably wouldn’t be a bad idea though. I would say as long as you have strong essays, you have a decent chance. and BTW, your SAT IIs were actually not bad at all. Good luck!</p>
