Location: Average-sized NJ public school(1,200) that is competative due to a large amount of Asian students(22%). A couple kids go to each Ivy every year.

-I have had 2 summer jobs over the course of 3 summers, averaging 40 hours(max for under 18) per week.

I'm looking at:
Harvard
Columbia
Vanderbilt
NYU
UCLA
UCSD
USC
Rutgers

-Harvard is obviously a big reach, but I have a hook(notable legacy, dad is in their basketball hall of fame)

-Legacy at UCLA as well(mom)

-I know my cumulative GPA is not great, but my GC said my strong upwards trend will help counteract the relatively low GPA (Its cliche, but I might use my immaturity and low grades freshman year as the basic of an essay topic for apps)

-Any comments about my chances would be greatly appreachiated
