<p>Hey everyone!</p>
<p>I applied to NC State regular admissions about a week and a half ago. I think I've got a pretty good chance, but I'd like a second opinion.</p>
<p>I applied to Accounting as my first choice and First Year College as my second-choice safety.</p>
<p>Weighted GPA: 4.38
Unweighted: 3.4</p>
<p>I've taken 10 AP classes, and on all 4 of the exams I've taken so far I've gotten 4's, which has given me AP Scholar with Distinction award. A lot of those classes are in progress right now. I've also taken and am taking 6 IB classes and I'm going for my IB Diploma.
SAT CR:680
WRITING: 640
MATH: 570 (this is what scares me the most)
Total: 1890</p>
<p>I've got a lot of extra curriculars, 3 major leadership positions and work experience. I also filled out the personal statement and all of the little 500 character essays. </p>
<p>Will my lower SAT Math stop me from accounting? Is it good enough for First Year? And am I good enough for having applied regular?</p>
<p>I'm an NC resident too, white female.</p>
I got deferred from UNC-Ch, which I’m really not that surprised about (plus I like NC State better anyway). I couldn’t find any info about how competitive Accounting was; I kinda assumed since it’s business it might be up there in selectivity with Engineering.</p>
