If this helps me any, my mom is a single mother with 4 kids on a teachers salary...

My Gpa should be around 5.3 ish due to the weight our school puts on honors and AP courses and 3.6issh U.W.

If you guys could tell me what my chances are for ND accepting me (im doing early decision) it would be wonderful

A few B's and a C in there...not sure how that plays. Do you have to put courses you took online on your transcript? Seems like that could knock out a lot of the B's. Don't quite know how they look at the grade thing, in light of it being all honors. The 32 along with the grades might be a hair on the low side, too, for EA, but since you are a junior, you've got quite a few more chances to take that again and push it upward.

I'd say see if you can ditch the online courses from your transcript, then take the ACT a few more times and grab another point or two, and EA might be in the ballpark. RD, you probably are already in the ballpark..

Online classes just show that you are interested in learning. And getting Bs is not bad. However, it would benefit you to show a narrowed interest in a particular subject and excel at it through online courses.

I remember reading this guy who became somewhat proficient with Italian after taking community college courses simply because he wanted to learn.

He did get into Notre Dame, but he had other factors. His SAT was not so great, but his ethnicity did make up for other areas.

You have a good chance in Rd but EA has too much competition and is really hard.

Just Work on your ACT or Take the SAT. I did horrible on the ACt but did well on the SAt. ND disregards the writing sections so if you could get like a 1500ish if you had the same prob as i did.

Oh yeah, Good jobs on the sports but why not run in college? I know it takes a lot of time but you could get some kind of scholarships or recuited. Since you broke your school record, you must be good. I think FL is a good track state. To get recuited, you first need to contact the school about it... they dont come to you since you are far away. My friend who is awesome in Track got almost a free-ride for Harvard. He has to pay like 3k/year but he said that he made sure that Harvard knows that he is interested.

Also, you could get soem communtiy service

Great GPA..5.3.. but do you have any idea about your rank?

Hope I helped and Hope you get in next year.
