Chances at Non-Ivy Schools

Hey guys, could you guys please evaluate my chances of getting into the specified colleges? My first semester of my sophomore year was a little rusty, however, my GPA went up as the semesters passed. I'm at about the top 10-15% of my class. Thank you very much!

and lol flopsy we have almost identical opinion every time :P

Upenn is an ivy.

Might lookat some very good LAC's with good econ/business programs like Holy Cross or Colgate. Holy Cross has better name recognition than Babson but both prepare students very well for business careers,

Might want to look at Penn State if you like the large school atmosphere or Bentley if you want another very good business school.

cool, thanks guys. Anyone have an opinion about NYU? I'm thinking about starting a business club at my school, how much would this affect my college application?

So one of the most respected business schools in the country doesn't have the same level of name recognition of a little religious college in Massachusetts that no one has ever heard of? par72, what are you smoking??

i agree with you, but i wouldnt say nobody has ever heard of holy cross

Holy Cross is a national top 25-30 LAC, while Babson is a decent business school but its endowment is only a fraction of HC's. Also former Pres. of Babson is a HC grad.

yes I agree with you par on this one. Babson is at best a mediocre level business school while Holy Cross is a top 35 ranked national LAC.

I also found that Babson was full of arrogant students which was something I was very unhappy to see. It ws an international student who claimed that international students have more money and are therefore better then the American students.

Little does he know that America has the most amount of billionaires as well as the richest man in the world.

stern? No chance, no offense, its impossible to get into, and frankly I just don't think you measure up unless you want to apply to NYU general studies, but Stern is TOUGH!

You're in @ Vandy...I think
