Chances at Northwestern M.M.S.S ED or UChicago EA?

Hey!! Your app as a whole looks okayish well-rounded.

I’ll start with scores. Your gpa looks good! So does your courseload. It would help if you posted your rank and the kind of school you attend. If you’re one of the top few kids at a competitive high school with lots of kids, you are definitely solid! Push up your ACT, if you can push that up you don’t really need to retake your SAT. 2210 is plenty fine.

Your awards and ec’s aren’t very plentiful. I would assume that your ec’s are pretty intensive then? Better focused than a laundry list  Either way, play up your ec’s to the best of your abilities. Mention them in your essays, what have you done to revolutionise your organisation etc :D

Nothing wrong with your community service, and I get your reticence in sharing definitely  But don’t play it up too much, it’s been mentioned far too often as essay material.

You didn’t mention your intended major. So I can’t really comment on whether your ec’s have any link, normally people try to link their ec’s to their intended major, youknow? What I can say is if you’re looking into education, then your mentorship at elementary level and coaching the econs team and youth leadership would be a definite bonus :D

Just a note: Uchicago is notorious for weighting their essays. I’m applying EA this year too, and the prompts are definitely tough, so your essay really needs to stand out yeah :)

Otherwise, good shot :D
