Chances at Northwestern? Please help!

I just finished my freshman year of high school and going into sophomore year. I'm half black and half Hispanic male. My weighted GPA was a 4.07, with a grade % of 91.6, so the unweighted GPA is about 3.7. I'm in all honors classes and taking AP Bio as a sophomore. I aspire to be a broadcast journalist, preferably sports. I finished the year with all A's and 1 B+ in Science. I recently the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizenship Award. I live in Simsbury, CT and attend the Simsbury High. The school is ranked 6th I'm the state, so it's pretty competitive and difficult. I'm currently involved as a helper at the local summer academy for elementary school kids, as a volunteer for the local food pantry, and as a camera person and director for the local TV program. I'm class secretary for student council and plan to be for all of high school. I'm also a member of the school newspaper and will be in the FBLA for the next three years. In my last two years of high school, I will most likely be a part of the Honors Society and the Business Honors Society. As for sports, I do cross country, basketball/indoor track (unsure on which I will do), and outdoor track. I plan to complete 300 volunteer hours by the time of applying for college. I know it might be a little early, but NU has been my dream school for a while, especially with it being the best journalism school and near Chicago.

I really don't want anyone to tell me to look t my other options, because I have 6 other schools I'm seriously considering. I just want to know my chances at the school as of this time. I'm also open for recommendation to raise my chances there. Please help:)

My other schools are Boston University, Syracuse, UNC Chapel Hill, NYU, and UMD College Park. If you have any useful information on these colleges or my chances there as well, I’d greatly appreciate it.

:) I recommend taking journalism classes in your high school and local community or public college. You can also try to look for internships and shadowing broadcasters. I think you have good chances if you work really hard in your ECs and get good SAT scores. Chance me…?

I think NYU and BU will be your matches.
