Chances at Notre Dame, Georgetown?!

I've already been accepted at UMich and Mich State (in-state), but my main concerns are the out of state (Notre Dame, Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon). Especially, do I have a good shot at Notre Dame? thanks for any help!

grrr I envy you. Accepted to Michigan, and in-state tuition. I don't know about your out of state chances. I understand the desire to go out-of-state, but Michigan is just soo good. Even if you get rejected from Notre Dame and the likes, realize that you have a backup plan better than most kids' reach schools.

thanks- its not a big deal if i dont get into nd, 'cause I'd still go to Michigan in a heartbeat.

somehow prove (i.e. through the essays) why georgetown is the best school for you. if you can provide an legitimate reason(s), i think it's a match/low reach. but right now, it's just a reach.

also, if at all possible, raise those scores. on the ACT, it looks like you just need to raise the science. so study for that, and you should be fine.

Might look at Holy Cross if intereseted in ND and Georgetown. HC is easier to get into but a Top30 LAC-1 hour from Boston.

Notre Dame - Slight Reach
Georgetown - Match / Slight Reach
Carnegie Mellon - Match

notre dame is a really big reach for you. their average sat is like a 1400. yeah.. really big reach. michigan would be great for you though and that's awesome you got in.. congratulations!
