Taking most rigorous courseload in school.

What are my chances and what needs the most improving?

I think you should get in without much of a problem. Good luck!

I'd pretty much say you'll have no problem in getting in, though random decisions sometimes come out of these college officers, not specifically at ND, at all schools.

Though, considering I got in... just don't worry about it & enjoy the summer.

Do Something that distinguishes yourself. You're the president of a number of activities. But what makes you stand out and lets the admissions officers know you will contribute something special to Notre Dame. I like to think that Notre Dame looks for something in their applicants that is different from other schools. I don't know if it's passion or dedication, but maybe how have you dedicated urself to a cause or project and how will that affect ur experience at Notre Dame?

Two things:

I've seen kids with stats like yours rejected because they screwed around with the personal statement. In the statement, show your passion for Our Lady's University. Also, how can you contribute to the Notre Dame community?

Most successful applicants have at least 1 varsity letter.

I certainly agree on number one, without a doubt I have seen it too! On number two, I agree but I also know plenty that didn't have a letter...it isn't make or break. Number one is a very important point!

I didn't talk about Notre Dame at all in my personal statement, and I certainly don't have a varsity letter.

I still think that it is better to not mention ND all that much in your statement. They know they are wonderful, but they don't know anything about you, and that is what you need to tell them about!

Are you supposed to put a sport down even if you didn't letter in it?

Not to steal this post, but I will probably letter my senior year. I was wondering if how many times you letter matters?

If you are going to letter, put it down.

You can put it down if you participated in a sport, no worries, letters aren't required for putting them down.
