what do you think my chances are at getting in ND, i am currently a senior at a pretty competitive college prep school, ive got a 3.6 GPA, taking all possible AP courses, have a 1300 (out of 1600) on the SAT and am taking it again and will probably improve, waiting to take the ACT, and my father and uncle went to ND and my mom went to st mary's (i dont know if that matters)

You have a decent chance at ND. You're SAT I, as well as GPA, is average for ND. If you were to supply a little more information, that would be helpful.

Did you take any SAT II's?
What are your EC'?
Explain your GPA
How many Ap's have you taken?

i took the math and chemistry sat 2s, didnt do as well as i expected got a 660 and 600, im taking Latin 4 AP, Calculus AP, AP Constitutional Government, AP American Literature, jr yr i took English AP and American History AP (only 2 avail, rest of my classes were "honors" classes), im in National Honor Society, i play baseball for my school, in some clubs like Model UN and ski club, done preojects like habitat for humanity and other service projects (my summer before my jr yr i volunteered at a center for disabled ppl pretty much throughtout the whole summer), thats pretty much it, i wouldnt expect to get into notre dame without the legacies that i have i was hopin that might push me in but i dont know how much weight they give that

Legacy definitly helps, but I don't think it will give you a tremendous boost.

" AP Constitutional Government" This doesn't exist, I presume you mean U.S. Government or Comparative Government?

Anyway, I'd say you have a decent shot, your stats are very similar to mine, albeit, I'm applying to BC instead.
