School doesn't send many people to top schools like NU.</p>
<p>Schools I plan to apply to: Northwestern, U of I-Urbana Champaign, U of Michigan-Ann Arbor, U of California-San Diego, Loyola, UIC, DePaul (as a safety).</p>
<p>Academics:
Classes: Mostly Honors and AP Classes (1 last year, 2 this year).
AP Tests: AP Euro-4
5 AP Classes Senior year
[I took a Study hall Freshman year and 1 semester soph year. will this effect my chances?]
GPA: Weighted-4.375//Unweighted-about 3.9

I've only gotten 2 B's in high school so far. </p>

ACT-still awaiting my February Test scores but on my last practice test I got a 31 Composite
English-33 Math-32 Science-30 Reading-29 and Essay-12
I plan on taking the SAT II Subject test in US and French</p>

Swim Team (outside of school because our school doesn't have a team): 9-10

<p>Volunteer/Work:
Kumon- 10-12th, 4-6 hours a week. I tutor Kids in Math and Reading
Key Club- So far I've volunteered about 30 hours
I'm going to volunteer at a local hospital this spring for about 50 hours.</p>
<p>Out of School Academics:
Northwestern CTD- I've done this program since 4th grade every summer. You take classes at northwestern.
Northwestern SEP- Saturday classes at northwestern (part of ctd). I've done this since 5th grade. In high school I took philosophy and Latin II
NJCL- I went to a Latin convention after taking Latin through Northwestern CTD for 2 years. (Summer after 9th grade)
NYLC- National Youth Leadership Conference (Summer after 10th grade)
I'm hopefully doing Northwestern's College Prep Program or Harvard's Summer School Program this summer.
I plan to continue studying Latin on my own time.</p>
<p>Leadership/Awards:
Key Club-Chaired and Cochaired a couple events
Peer Mediation- led around new students through the school
Link Crew- led freshmen around the school

Hopefully I will be an Officer of NHS
