Chances at NYC Schools

I am a Junior and my current list of schools are: Cuny Honors, Cornell, Columbia, NYU, Fordham. I plan on being a political science major and then law school.

My GPA is a 92.01, and I am ranked 152/950.
Yet to take SAT, lets say I'll have a 2000 though.
Taking AP Bio and AP US History this year.

EC's- Lacrosse for 3 years, newspaper editor, marching band 1 semester, and a few random clubs for a semester or two. Also worked at the same place for 2 summers.

I think I have a decent shot at cuny honors, especially if I ED there (For those that don't know, the program is free, you get a laptop, and a $7500 grant).

I have heard prestige of school isnt too important into admission to law school, atleast not for schools outside the top 10. Anyway, my choices would probably come down to Fordham and Cuny Honors, and if they do, what do you guys reccomend? I may ED there because their accepted avg is a 94 and a 1300 SAT.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Not a great chance at Columbia.

Just to let you know- Cornell isn't in NYC. It's in Ithaca.

Oh is it? I thought Cornell was in SoHO......

LOL!! cornell couldn't fit in soho

Put it in Central Park then......

But seriously, I'd like to get some Feedback on the colleges I have listed, Especially Cuny Honors if anybody applied/is going there/knows people there.

What CUNY Honors are you seeking admission too?
Baruch you have a chance; Hunter, City, Brooklyn, super slim to none chances.

When you take your SAT, aim for a higher score. It'll help you out.
unfortunately, your chances at Columbia aren't looking too great. They'll want to see a good SAT score, volunteer hours, and perhaps slightly stronger ECs. Really good essays will help you out, though.
It's a bit hard to consider your chances, though, since you don't actually have an SAT score.
I don't know much about Fordham or CUNY honors.

Queens, but how can you say I have slim to no chance? 50 people are accepted each year to cuny honors from our school, with an average of 93.69 and an SAT of 1250ish. If i do early decision, they accept like 70% of their applicants from my school.

Do you have any idea which of the cuny's has the best pol sci major (honors ofcourse)

where in nyc do you go to school? the only way cuny honors could admit 50 kids a yr from your school is if its Stuyvesant. They are SUPER selective - almost on the ivy league level. My friend & I both got waitlisted @ Baruch Honors (shes ranked 13 w/ 95ish cum. avg, I'm ranked 17 w/ 93 cum. avg) and my friend ranked #5 in the class got outright rejected at Hunter Honors. I also got deferred from Cornell. You seem to have a good shot at Fordham & a chance @ Cornell & NYU. I don't know much about Columbia though.

I go to Midwood, here are acceptance stats from our school that I got today.
