Hi im currently a sophmore but im going to give you some predicitons of what i might be at in junior/senior years.

GPA/WeightedGPA [3.7/3.9]
SAT [2100]
In seventh grade i scored 1700 on the SATs.
I will be taking AP Amer. Lit; AP US History
Keep in mind that my school doesnt offer many AP classes.
You cant even take them till senior year because i go to an advanced placement highschool.
Itake after school classes that are worth credits such as:

Chorus
Film
Advanced Public Speaking.

I am in Junior States of America & Key Club
I will be double majoring in Graphic Design and TV Production or Musical theatre at my school in junior and senior years.

Im going to take 4 years of english math science history and language.

Please give me your opinion?Reach/Match/Safety

I think that your a match at both. You might want to specify more about your extra-curriculars, and a leadership role at either JSA or Key Club would definitely help. Heck, depending on how much leadership you show, you might be able to turn both of those into safeties. But sophomore year is fairly early for chancing, so make sure you do your best in school (I slacked off a bit my sophomore year, and it ended up lowering my rank from a possible 4/5 to rank 8). Good luck!

I think you’re a match for both schools. I think you’ll have an easier time getting into BU than NYU, but I think you’ll probably get into both. I wouldn’t call them safeties though.

I think that you have a great shot at both schools. Obviously, your SAT scores will go up. I advise you to seek leadership in extracurriculars pertaining to your prospective major because that will put you into the above average group and it may even help with getting scholarships! Keep up the good work!
