I feel like I'm right on the bubble for both. However, at U of M I'm applying to both LSA and their theatre school (their theatre school takes slightly lower GPAs). At NYU I'm applying to Tisch.

I'm a junior at a competitive public high school in Michigan.
-Unweighted GPA: 3.54
-Class rank: Top 25%, but my school refuses to specify beyond that
-Taking the SAT in June
-ACT: 28 (also retaking in June, hoping to score in the 30s)
-APs (by the time I graduate): U.S. Government & Politics, Psychology, Environmental Science, European History

ECs:
-Drama Club officer
-hoping to be a Choir Officer next year
-Girl Scouts
-National Honor Society
-BuildOn (community service club, focused on building schools in Africa & South America)
-Spanish Club
-Cheerleading
-I play piano
-I dance

-I'm attending a summer acting program at UMich this year, which I hope will help

-I'm not first-generation because my mom went to college, but if my dad didn't does that count for anything?

I'm really worried that my GPA will not cut it, but it just slipped this past year, so I'm hoping they'll take my freshman and sophomore grades into account (or will that just hurt me more?)

As I alluded to earlier, I'm interested in a Theatre Arts, Acting or Musical Theatre degree and depending on which schools allow me to double major, I will couple that with a Communications or Developmental Psych degree (but probably Communications).

Also, on a side note, what are my chances for:
-Michigan State
-Loyola Chicago
-Marymount Manhattan College
-University of Florida
-Fordham University
-Pace University
