I'm a senior and I applied to NYU RD. I already turned in my app and wrote 3 good essays and decisions come put pretty soon. With that said, I just visited NYU and fell in love with it. It is the perfect fit for me. And now I'm worried that I might not get in.

I'm applying to the College of Arts and Sciences

SAT: 1900
Math: 580
Writing: 680
Reading: 640
ACT: 27

GPA: 3.6 UW 4.5 W
will graduate with 3 APs and 7 dual-enrollment classes.

Had great letters of rec, 400+ volunteer hours at the museum of discovery and science, hold a position in 3 honor societies (pres., vice-pres., secretary), spent my summer doing a summer program at Johns Hopkins and UChicago. Held 2 jobs, one over summer one during the school year.

If I don't get in I plan to re-take the SAT and get a 2000 and get a 3.8+ college GPA and try to transfer.

Also, does NYU wait list students?

I know decision are coming out soon but I just wanted to know if I stand a chance of getting admitted so I can prepare myself. Thank you in advance!
