Chances at NYU Stern RD with Mediocre ECs?

I apologize for this sort of thread (I've not elicited any sort of response in the chances forum). I have relatively mediocre ECs, but I wanted to see if I even had an OK chance of getting into the Stern Business School at NYU (Regular Decision).

From what I’ve heard NYU places a bigger emphasis on test scores and grades than on anything else, and you’re set in those two areas, so I imagine you have a pretty good shot.

I agree with above poster. Just realize that Stern is highly competitive and since you have such a high family income, expect to pay full cost ($55,000-$60,000+)

Thanks for the responses, guys!

@NYU2013 - I heard that Stern is more competitive than the other schools, which is why I was worried. And yeah, I’m not expecting to get any need-based aid at any of my schools (at least the ones that aren’t major reaches). My family’s income level really sucks for college, because it’s too much to get need-based aid, but not enough to make money a non-factor.

Yeah, I was waitlisted. >_>

Surprising. Apparently NYU is being very picky this year.

Yeah NYU2013 is right. This year, I know people who had better scores/grades than you who got wait listed and I think it’s because of EC’s. But your chances are still pretty good.

My chances of getting chosen off the waitlist are pretty good?
