I'm scared to death about my SATs. I don't know if I'm going to get in.
GPA: 3.93 (UW) 4.65(W)
class rank: 3/350
SAT math: 710 verbal:560 writing:600
I took 6 APs my junior year all at the same time and did pretty good on most of the exams.
I applied EA yesterday. I wrote a great essay and I had a great teacher recommendation. </p>
<p>Do you guys think I'll get in?
Will the GPA compensate for the bad SAT scores?</p>
<p>I also want to add that I had pretty good ECs and I work at starbucks</p>

<p>I'm also applying to NYU, and from what I've heard, it's mainly number based, so your SAT scores might hurt. But NYU is ED, not EA...</p>
<p>Dude, honestly, your SATs aren't that bad. Sure, you don't have a 2350 like (almost) every single person who posts on here, but a 1870 is pretty decent. With a GPA like yours, I say that you have a damn good shot.</p>
