chances at nyu

I'm just your average white kid from a small town on long island that no one has ever heard of. I go to a very diverse school which is also extremely uncompetitive (we don't send 10 kids a year to ivy's... not even one kid a year)

the stats!

GPA- 3.6 unweighted, 3.8 weighted (these don't include this year yet but my averages were much better this year so they definitely will be a little higher.)

SAT- taking in June, i think I'll get at least a 1900 but am hoping for a 2000 (knocks on wood)

SAT II's - I'm getting them back tomorrow =)

Volunteering
This summer I'm volunteering at Nassau university medical center 2 days a week for 3 hours and am planning on volunteering at another hospital during the school year.

My essay will most likely be about winning the gold this past season. It was an extremely emotional year for me and will probably be touching (or it will suck who knows?)I know who I am going to ask for my rec's and am sure they will both be outstanding.

I don't really know where i stack up. I'm applying early decision to NYU (cas). I know im not the typical CC'er with a 2200 on my sats and 2400 combined sat II's but im sure there is some chance... any suggestions?
