My school and his school are in 2 opposte directions.
2. i also wrote about how the envioronment i grew up in has shaped me to be a strong perservering leader and how people see me as a leader not because of my large frame ( i am 6'4) but because of the attidude i have when i am in the room.
3. how my parents accident coupled with my volunteering at the hospital and work in the
retirement home has changed my outlook on life and how i found my true calling which is medicine because God has blessed me with intelligence and lots of empathy towards the needy and weak.
4. i also included in my essay a great quote from one of a famous surgeon (i am drawing a blank on his name right now) but it said " i was never the smartest in med school, but what i lacked in ability i made up with through discipline." i think this quote really applies to me and i explained why.

You have a very good shot at USC as far as I can see. Your gpa is a bit low, though, especially since you are at a low-tiered school. Also, you don’t seem to have any arts on your resume. Your essays, on the other hand, have the potential to be very powerful. Make sure to do well on the SAT, preferably above 2100 for a great shot.

GPA needs work (ECs pretty wonderful but always open for improvement) but otherwise you seem to have a pretty good chance. (are you going to take the SAT or are you just going to give them just the ACT?)

Chance me even though people already did (I’m having a bet with my parents that people think I’ll get into a “good” college b/c parents gave me the “you’ll never get in with those stats” lecture):

I am going to retake the ACT in Sept, Oct, and Dec. my goal is a 32-33 on it but the more practice test i do they lower self-confidence i have. im getting like 27-30
on practice, 30 on the Real but i just dont know how to get up 2-3 more points. i have studied a lot and currently i am at 28 E, 32 M, 29R, 29S

The only thing is your GPA, everything else is great. USC is majorly competitive and my friend had like a 4.3 GPA and 31 ACT score and only got in for spring semester at that school. however your activities and volunteer hrs and essays may compensate for the average test scores and slightly below average GPA. good luck!
