My school and his school are in 2 opposte directions.

i also wrote about how the envioronment i grew up in has shaped me to be a strong perservering leader and how people see me as a leader not because of my large frame ( i am 6'4) but because of the attidude i have when i am in the room.

how my parents accident coupled with my volunteering at the hospital has changed my outlook on life and how i found my true calling which is medicine because God has blessed me with intelligence and lots of empathy towards the needy and weak.

i also included in my essay a great quote from one of a famous surgeon (i am drawing a blank on his name right now) but it said " i was never the smartest in med school, but what i lacked in ability i made up with through discipline." i think this quote really applies to me and i explained why.

I think your stats are within the range, especially if you raise your GPA this year and maybe score higher on another subject test. Your essays and extracurriculars are strong so overall I’d say you have a pretty good chance.

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/938398-chance-give-suggestions-rising-senior.html

Maybe. As you know your GPA is very low. Your SAT is a little above average. It’s possible, not probable. If they love your essay…who knows?

Redroses: considering that their average SAT is 1900 wouldn’t you say a 2100 is high above average?

A 2100 will help, but these days it’s just really tough without the GPA. On top of taking fewer overall, they are taking more out of state. Tough times here.

omg… do i really have that low of a chance? any other opinions than the 2 above please?
