Hello! I am in eighth grade applying to Peddie and Lawrenceville

I have A-'s , a couple B's , and 1 C+ .

My interviews went pretty well and my teacher( math, English, counselor) recommendati should be fairly good and my extra should be extremely good. Essays are good but I do not think they are excellent.

My Ecs:
Theater, orchestra, haiti volunteer project
I scored an 82 percentile on the (SSAT horrible math and reading score) pretty good in verbal

All answers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

Wow Prep7080. First off way to go on those EC’s the Haiti project great asset to have. SSAT score is good, but I dont know if it is a good cushion to have when applying to such great schools. You may even consider retaking it and getting into the 90’s. The grades are Ok, but again with the great schools that you are considering hopefully your wonderful EC’s outweigh them. I must say that these schools would be a fool to turn you down, but just in case be prepared to be wait listed and have a plan B. You should be good though!

Peace

Thank you very much. I was considering retaking the ssat, considering my subsets in math particular. If you are applying I wish the best of luck to you :)
